We have structured this course to provide plenty of hands-on time for the students. Lectures are followed by sessions in which the students work on class photos (or their own) while Christine and I walk around helping each student individually.

In these 2-Day crash courses on Perfect Photo Suite 9 we will go through all of the basics (and some advanced) features of onOne Software’s image editing and enhancing software Perfect Photo Suite 9. 
Perfect Photo Suite 9 is made up of 7 different powerful apps integrated into one suite, and we will spend time in each app during the two days. I will demonstrate each module using my laptop hooked up to a projector. You will watch and take notes, and then following each lecture you will have the opportunity to work on your own photos using the techniques just learned as Christine and I walk around and help each student individually.
While Perfect Photo Suite can be used as a plugin to Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture for this class we will only be using it as a stand-alone program.
What you will learn:
Perfect Browse
In Browse you will learn how to find your photos, add new folders, rename files, read camera metadata, move photos, delete photos, view photos at 100%, add keywords and labels, rate your photos, and more.
Perfect Layers
The layers module allows us to stack and blend numerous photo layers to satisfy most all of your composite photography needs. Learn about layers, stacking and blending, transform layer sizes, moving and deleting layers, and more. In addition Perfect Layers is great for cropping, erasing objects, cloning with the stamp tool, and much more.We will also learn how to remove backgrounds and replace boring skies with dramatic clouds. There are numerous tools to help make even complicated masks like those with hair or leaves easier than you may think. We will go through all the tools, showing the benefits and drawbacks to each, and share with you our secrets and tips to masking.
Perfect Enhance
Perfect Enhance allows one to go in and make quick adjustments to your photo. Learn how to control brightness, contrast, vibrance, temperature, detail, vignettes, sharpening, reduce noise, crop and level your photos, send your photos to your printer, and more.Use the Magic Eraser and Retouch Brush to remove things from power lines to dust spots. Also learn how to use and create your own presets to use over and over again.
Perfect Portrait
If you photograph people you are going to love the Perfect Portrait module. Learn how to easily whiten eyes and teeth, add detail to the eyes and enhance lip color, smooth skin and remove blemishes, adjust skin color and reduce shine, and more. Learn how to use the included presets as well.
Perfect Effects
Perfect Effects is where you can take your ordinary photos and make them extraordinary. With an extensive library of presets – each one fully customizable – you will learn how to add single or numerous effects to your photos to give them a unique and creative look that would be hard to achieve in any other software program.
Perfect B&W
Creating amazing black and white photos is easy with the Perfect B&W module in Perfect Photo Suite. In addition to numerous presets you will learn how to convert your photo into a stunning black & white image using the numerous manual controls to give you the exact look you want.In addition to b&w you can convert your photo to sepia or use other colors to tint your image. You will also learn how to bring back some of the original color for truly creative looks.
Perfect Resize
You have your photo perfected and now it is time to have it printed and shared on social media sites. Perfect Resize is the perfect tool to do that with.Learn how to use the built-in presets for popular photo sizes and printers, and learn how to manually resize your photos. You can resize them smaller or much larger than your original while keeping all of the details.

Who this class is for:
No prior experience with Perfect Photo Suite is necessary. In this 2-day course we will cover every important feature of Perfect Photo Suite starting with the basics and continuing through more advanced techniques and enhancements. If you do not yet own Perfect Photo Suite, you can download a fully working 30-day free trial just prior to the start of the workshop.
This class is ideal for beginners as well as those who may have some experience with Perfect Photo Suite but want to get a firm grasp on all the major features and techniques.
Tuition fees:
Tuition for the 2-day classroom course is just $325.
Classes are limited to between 9 and 14 students depending upon location unless otherwise specified. Tuition covers the classroom workshop but does not include lunch (unless otherwise specified) nor overnight accommodations.
What to bring: Your laptop computer with Perfect Photo Suite already installed and running – either in trial mode or purchased version. Be sure to install and launch the software prior to the class to make sure it is working properly. Make sure you have some of your photos on your hard drive to work on during the class. Also bring a notebook and pen, ipad, or other way to take notes during the class.
